Job Summary

• Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Projects and Asset Management to provide leadership and end-to-end oversight forengineering, construction, and asset management activities across its operations.
• The role will be responsible for driving project delivery excellence, optimizing assetperformance, and ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment withorganizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering and construction projectsacross the organization.
• Develop project strategies, schedules, and execution plans to ensure delivery withinscope, budget, and timelines.
• Oversee asset management frameworks to ensure optimal performance, reliability, andlifecycle management of company assets.
• Monitor project budgets, expenditures, and implement cost control measures.
• Manage contractor selection, negotiations, and performance evaluation.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, health, safety, environmental, and operationalstandards.
• Provide leadership and direction to project and asset management teams.
• Identify project risks and provide strategic recommendations to senior management.
• Prepare periodic performance and progress reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Professional membership with relevant engineering bodies is required.
• PMP certification or equivalent project management qualification is an addedadvantage.
• 12–15 years’ experience in construction, engineering, or project management within the oil and gas industry.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale infrastructure or engineering projects fromconcept to completion.
• Strong understanding of project lifecycle management and industry regulations.
• Demonstrated leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD, orsimilar software.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
