    Head of Tech Sales

    Job Summary:

    • We are seeking an energetic and strategic Sales and Business Development Lead to spearhead our sales initiatives and drive business growth.
    • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology sales, a proven track record of effective team leadership, and the ability to develop new business opportunities.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Strategic Sales Planning:

    • Develop comprehensive sales strategies that align with the company’s goal
    • Analyse market trends and competitor activities to adapt strategies accordingly.
    • Set short and long-term sales targets and evaluate the effectiveness of sales programs.

    Customer Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain lasting relationships with key business decision-makers.
    • Understand and anticipate client needs to align our products better and services.
    • Provide expert client support and handle escalations, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

    Business Development:

    • Identify potential business opportunities and innovative growth strategies
    • Expand the company’s market presence through networking and partnerships.
    • Initiate and negotiate business deals that promote sustained revenue.

    Sales Presentations and Proposals:

    • Design and deliver compelling presentations and proposals that communicate the value and benefits of our products.
    • Customize proposals to address specific client requirements and maximize business opportunities.

    Market Analysis:

    • Continuously monitor and identify emerging markets and potential market shifts.
    • Analyse customer research, current market conditions, and competitor information to develop new business strategies.

    Team Leadership and Management:

    • Lead, mentor, and expand the sales and business development team.
    • Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth.
    • Foster an environment of collaboration and accountability within the team

    Reporting and Analytics:

    • Prepare detailed sales reports and forecasts for senior management.
    • Track sales goals and report results as necessary
    • Analyse data to identify areas for improvement in the sales process.

    Requirements
    Qualifications:

    • Proven experience as a sales leader with a solid track record in Tech sales and/or business development in the Tech space.
    • Strong ability to plan and execute sales strategies.
    • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization.

    Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree or HND in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
