    Head of Sales-Medical Consumables

    Missions

    The Head of Sales -Consumables is in charge of the distribution channel for all our medical consumables products (Gloves, PPE’S, Diapers, wound-care, infection control, sutures.etc.)

    Responsibilities include:

    • To create and implement a sales strategy (including forecasting and pipeline development) with the aim of achieving a £5M target (past three years we’ve had 30% YOY growth).
    • Managing, coaching, and developing the existing Sales team across the nation.
    • Achieving a personal sales target – you will do this by leading by example. You’ll want to be involved with the “doing” not just the managing.
    • Develop, implement, and maintain a set of KPI’s, which facilitate the growth strategy.
    • Working closely with our established Marketing team to ensure a complimentary Sales and Marketing plan is delivered – the result of which will be to expand and solidify our presence within the market.
    • You will create customer profiles, understand buying cycles and start to pro-actively pre-empt customer requirements.
    • Manage the current portfolio of customers (distributors)
    • Initiate and coordinate development of action plans to penetrate new markets: new countries new segments, new products.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plan and organize training and seminars.
    • Provide continuous feedback to Management regarding performance.
    • Maintain Accurate records of all pricing, sales and monthly activity reports.

    Experience

    • Sales experience of medical consumables to Hospital distributors.
    • Experience manaing teams
    • Eagerness to develop your customer portfolio and to promote innovative solutions for distributors and hospitals.
    • You will have a proven track record of people management within a fast-moving environment. Ideally, you will have worked with medical consumable products.
    • Experienced in management of distributors & prospection of new accounts.
