    Head of Operations

    Location: Lagos Island

    Job Level: Experience

    Report to: CEO

    Job Description

    • Responsible for the set up and management of operations and customer service model for the digital bank, and to ensure that digital banking operations are aligned with organizational standards, goals, and aspirations.
    • Understand and ensure processes and procedures comply with internal SOP and regulatory requirements.
    • Supervise the digital banking operation team for timely completion of tasks and adherence to SOP.
    • Manage scoping of the operational development backlog with our technical teams for continuous improvement
    • Perform operation tasks, review and update of departmental procedures, processes, and workflow to produce high-quality, cost-effective delivery of digital banking operation.
    • Monitor automated processes for the digital bank to ensure efficiencies and accuracy of automation and coordinate the adjustment of those automated processes as needed
    • Evaluate systems for functionality improvements.
    • Document and maintain workflows, processes, and procedures, coordinating with Digital Bank Product and Channel teams to ensure proper procedures for control points.
    • Recruit, select, train, assign, schedule, and discipline employees.
    • Research and leverages technology-based tools to implement process improvements to current systems.
    • Represent the Operations function as an integral part of the management team

    Job Requirements

    • Master/Bachelor’s Degree, preferable in fields of information technology, business, banking and finance or other relevant academic backgrounds.
    • At least 5+ years of relevant working experience in Senior role in Banking Operations, preferably in area of internet and mobile banking operation (experience within a digital banking environment)
    • Able to work independently, organized, creative and attentive to details.
    • Be a good team player, self-motivated with positive thinking plus able to deliver multiple projects/tasks.
    • Proven ability to lead people and get positive results through others, requiring in-depth experience of collaborating between staff and members for best results
    • Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills, the ability to work effectively and build relationships both internally and externally.
    • Must be flexible and adjust to schedule and adapt to the changing needs of the Digital Bank
    • Possesses excellent decision quality and is able to make independent decisions
    • Effectively collaborate with others to achieve organizational goals
    • Effective planning and organizing skills to deliver workload in timely manner
