This role requires you to be emotionally intelligent as you will have to lead a team of less than 10 staff, children and their parents. You should be able to support the team if there is needfor you to step in to teach or direct. As teh haed of the team, you should be purpose driven, creative, technologically inclined and a strategist.
We expect that you would have taught younger children and conversant with the activities of the early years. You should be able to develop programs for both the teachers and the pupils and their parents if need be. A very good communicator and writer as you will be involved in documentation and vetting.
Your education should have a reach on the theories of education and their application to everyday teaching and learning.
Requirements
You will need an approved teaching qualification (B.Sc or PGDE) in any field.
At least 3 years of working with children in this category.
