    Head of Marketing

    JOB SUMMARY:

    • The Head of Marketing and Corporate Communications will be responsible for developing and implementing the marketing and corporate communication strategies for our client.
    • The post holder will lead a team of professionals and work closely with other departments to enhance our clients brand reputation, promote its products or services, and maintain effective internal and external communication.

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

    • Strategy Development: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing and corporate communication strategies aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.
    • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of marketing and communications professionals, including marketing managers, public relations specialists, and content creators.
    • Brand Management: Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all channels, materials, and campaigns to maintain a strong and cohesive brand identity.
    • Public Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with media outlets, industry influencers, and stakeholders to promote the company's image and protect its reputation.
    • Content Development: Oversee the creation of compelling content for various platforms, including website, social media, press releases, and marketing materials.
    • Digital Marketing: Implement digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media marketing, to increase online visibility and engagement.
    • Internal Communication: Develop and manage internal communication strategies to keep employees informed, engaged, and aligned with the company's mission and values.
    • Crisis Management: Develop crisis communication plans and lead responses to protect the company's reputation during challenging times.
    • Budget Management: Manage the marketing and communications budget, ensuring cost-effective strategies and optimal resource allocation.
    • Analytics and Reporting: Use data and analytics to track the performance of marketing and communication initiatives, making data-driven decisions to improve outcomes.
    • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as sales, product development, and human resources, to ensure marketing and communication efforts are aligned with business objectives.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelor's and or master's degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field.
    • Experienced working in the Gaming industry
    • Proven experience in marketing and corporate communication roles, with a record of successful campaigns.
    • An interest in the Gaming Industry is desirable but must also have sound commercial judgment.
    • Good working knowledge of MS Office and relevant other design/creativity tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Canva etc
    • Good working knowledge of Analytics and reporting tools such as Google Analytics, SEMRush, and social media scheduling software such as HootSuite, Meltwater, Agorapulse etc.
    • Good understanding of CMS tools (WordPress) and email marketing tools (MailChimp)
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and confidence in presenting to a range of internal and external stakeholders.
    • Prove track record of good leadership, team management skills and motivating others.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
    • Proficiency in using marketing and analytics tools.
    • In-depth knowledge of digital marketing and social media platforms.
    • Crisis management and public relations expertise.
    • Strong strategic thinking with critical thinking skills and an eye for innovation.
    • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task
    • Must be able to lead by example.

    • Confident, outgoing, and approachable
    • A hands-on manager who is prepared to occasionally work outside contracted hours as the business needs arise.
    • The ability to think strategically and contribute to our client plans.
