Head of Finance, Accounts & Treasury (FINCONT) at ABUCOOP Microfinance Bank Limited

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Responsibilities

• Monitor Bank-wide asset quality, Capital adequacy, Liquidity and Profitability analysis of the bank .
• Completes cost analysis, pricing, peer data reviews, valuation, investment activities, budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling etc.
• Supervision of the FINCONT, Product Development, performance management and strategy function of the Bank and manage the report of the financial performance of the bank.
• Collaborate with the Bank Finance and performance Management and Marketing Strategy functions to analyze financial models assess financial report and market opinion, monitor competitors and contribute to formulation of responses.
• Supervise account department activities and provide leadership training and supervision within the Department ensuring that set goals and objectives are achieved.
• Provide a high level of customer relations and services ensuring compliance with Bank’s policies and procedures.
• Establish investors relations strategy and set overall direction for the Bank and Perform other functions as assigned by the Managing Director/CEO.
• Preparation of Accounts to management and the Board.
• Liasing with regulatory authorities like the CBN, NDIC, FIRS etc.
• Rendition of returns and reports to relevant organisations and stakeholders.

Requirements

• First degree or HND or in Accounting.
• Must be chartered Accountant ACA, ACCA, or any other related qualification relevant.
• Must have worked in a Financial Institution preferably Microfinance Bank with minimum of 5 years post qualification experience & performance management role within the financial service industry.
• Knowledge and understanding of global banking operations and management/Cost accounting.
• Ability to Build relationships with key stakeholders, institutions, and investment community at Group level reflective of their needs and banks’ overall objective.
• Must not be less than 35 years and not more than 50 years of age as at the time of recruitment.
• Must be knowledgeable in international financial reporting standard (IFRS)
• Proficient in the use of Excel and Bank reconciliation.
• Must be Microfinance Bank certified (MCIB).
