Job Title: Head of Development Company Background Objective/ Purpose Ecommerce automation expert The objective of the role is to lead and manage a team of developers, to create and implement websites for clients using web creation tools. He /She must be a WordPress master and will be Scrum Master for the team, able to direct, mentor and grow the development team. Job Duties/ Responsibilities/ Accountabilities 

• Responsible for the quality and technical approach taken by team members, ensuring it is in-line with clients’ strategies. 
• Coordinate the writing of well designed, testable and efficient codes. 
• Coordinate the creation of Learning Management Systems using Wordpress Coordinate the creation of highly functional ecommerce using Wordpress and Shopify Ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget. The Head of Development will engineer web solutions that meet clients’ needs. 
• He /She will attend meetings with clients to discuss concept and to review layout and contents. 
• Responsible to coordinate, design, code and modify website from layout to function according to clients’ needs. 
• Responsible for the coordination, support and mentoring of the web development team. 
• He /She will be responsible for creating and maintaining a professional culture within the team. 
• Develop appropriate code structures to solve specific task, troubleshoot and resolve problems. 
• Take ownership of code throughout development, staging, testing and production

Education Qualification: 

• First degree in Computer Science or any related field Experience 
• Minimum of 5 years proven work experience in web programming

KEY COMPETENCIES REQUIREMENTS:

Technical and Behavioral Competence Requirements: 

• Proficiency in the use of Wordpress and shopify. 
• A basic knowledge and understanding of Digital marketing 
• Proficiency in the use of Figma for UI/UX Designs 
• Extensive knowledge of Server management skills and high understanding of C-panel and Cloud Hosting 
• A good understanding of how web applications work, including security, session management and best development practice 
• Be a natural leader, able to translate complex technical concepts into easy to understand language for client and internal team to understand 
• Be a strong leader, with a professional attitude to lead 
• Have the ability to multi-task and stay organised in a dynamic work environment 
• Be analytical and inquisitive, with excellent attention to detail
