Job responsibilities.

• Strategic Planning: Develops and implements construction strategies, goals, and objectives.
• Project Oversight: Monitors and directs multiple construction projects, ensuring they meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
• Team Management: Leads and manages construction teams, including project managers, engineers, and superintendents.
• Client Relations: Builds and maintains strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders, 
• Risk Management: Identifies and mitigates risks associated with construction projects.
• Budgeting and Cost Control: Oversees and manages construction budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and profitability.
• Quality Assurance: Ensures compliance with quality standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
• Innovation and Improvement: Encourages innovation, implements process improvements, and adopts new technologies.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensures adherence to safety protocols, building codes, legal, and regulatory requirements.
• Business Development: Contributes to business growth through identifying new opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams.
• Drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement across projects. 

Job Specifications:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, RICS, CIOB, or similar are an added advantage.

Experience:

• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in the construction industry, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
• Proven track record in delivering large-scale projects (commercial and residential).

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong leadership, organizational, and project management skills.
• Excellent knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
• Strategic thinker with financial acumen and risk management ability.
• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in construction software (AutoCAD, Revit, Prota structures, plainswift, etc).
