We are seeking an experienced and strategic-minded professional to join our team as the Head of Business in the oil and gas industry. The successful candidate will provide leadership and direction to the business unit, overseeing all aspects of operations, strategic planning, and business development. A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas sector is required.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning:

• Develop and execute comprehensive business strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Identify opportunities for business growth, expansion, and diversification.

Operational Leadership:

• Provide overall leadership and direction to the business unit, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Financial Management:

• Oversee budget development, financial planning, and performance analysis.
• Monitor financial performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and take corrective actions as needed.

Business Development:

• Lead business development initiatives, including market analysis, competitor assessment, and identification of new business opportunities.
• Formulate and implement plans to secure new contracts and partnerships.

Client Relationship Management:

• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and expectations.

Team Leadership:

• Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing team.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.

Regulatory Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, environmental standards, and health and safety protocols.
• Stay informed about changes in regulations affecting the oil and gas sector.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.
• Advanced degree (MBA) is a plus.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a leadership role within the oil and gas industry.
• Proven track record of successful business development and strategic planning.
• Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
