Head of Account Management at Alan & Grant

Job Summary

• We are seeking  a highly experienced and strategic Head of Account Management to oversee all recovery efforts and manage client relationships across the recovery function.
• This role is responsible for ensuring effective recovery performance while maintaining strong client relationships, improving retention, and protecting the company’s reputation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and monitor all recovery activities to ensure effectiveness and compliance
• Develop and implement recovery strategies aligned with company objectives
• Oversee account management teams responsible for recovery and client engagement
• Ensure timely follow-up, resolution, and closure of recovery accounts
• Manage and strengthen client relationships throughout the recovery life cycle
• Drive client retention by ensuring professional, ethical, and respectful engagement
• Monitor recovery performance metrics and ensure targets are achieved
• Handle escalated client issues related to recovery and account management
• Ensure adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices
• Prepare and present recovery and account management reports to senior management

Requirements

• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years proven experience in account management, recovery, collections, or credit operations
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Excellent client relationship and negotiation abilities
• Sound understanding of recovery processes and financial services operations
• Strong analytical, reporting, and decision-making skills
• Ability to balance recovery objectives with customer retention.
