Head of Academics at Eden Solutions and Resources

Our Client, an international school operating with British Curriculum located in UMUAHIA, ABIA STATE is looking to recruit committed, passionate and well experienced Head of Academics:

JOB DESCRIPTION

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan academic meetings, orientations, trainings and workshops.
• Ensuring all activities are carried out to the highest possible standards and put in place the necessary evaluation and monitoring procedures to ensure both compliance and improvement: such procedures will include teaching, research and management of all resources.
• Ensuring that school HR policies and procedures are implemented.
• Plan budget, schedule and resources for the school and community related activities.
• Coordinate with other Academic Directors in sharing educational and instructional ideas.
• Develop educational process and policies to meet curriculum goals.
• Develop unique and interactive educational programs and courses for students.
• Manage faculty resources, administrative staffs and other school resources.
• Develop and implement development programs.
• Develop and implement academic enhancement programs for students.
• Schedule regular meetings with staffs.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum Master’s Degree. Preferably in education.
• Certification in Teaching
• Candidate must have relevant work experience (not less than 7 years) as a technical head, supervisor or head of academics in an international school
• You must possess technical understanding of the British curriculum
• Candidate must have extensive Leadership & Business Experience
• Candidate must have an excellent command of English.
• Outstanding organizational and administrative skills
• Proven experience as a head of academics
• Must have a very good understanding of the academic disciplines within the school.
• Problem-solving abilities
• Attention to details
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Master’s degree will be an added advantage
