Head Chef at Misan Hotel

Job Summary:

• As Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, leading a team of chefs and kitchen staff, designing innovative menus, and ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation.
• You will play a key role in maintaining cost control, hygiene standards, and staff training.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement creative and seasonal menus in line with customer preferences and food trends
• Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring smooth daily operations and high performance
• Ensure compliance with food hygiene and safety regulations at all times
• Monitor stock levels, manage inventory, and place orders efficiently
• Control food costs and minimize waste without compromising quality
• Recruit, train, and mentor kitchen staff
• Work collaboratively with front-of-house and management teams to deliver an outstanding dining experience

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a fast-paced kitchen
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and sanitation standards
• Creativity and passion for food presentation and innovation
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities
• Culinary qualification or equivalent professional training is preferred
