The Head Business Development North is a full-time, on-site role based in Abuja, responsible for leading business development activities across the Northern region.
This role oversees the identification and pursuit of new pension business opportunities, including corporate and individual accounts, while strengthening relationships with existing clients and partners.
The position involves developing and executing regional sales and business plans, monitoring market trends, and coordinating strategic initiatives to grow Assets Under Management and customer base.
The role includes managing account portfolios, guiding regional sales teams, preparing performance reports, and ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and corporate objectives.
The Head Business Development North collaborates with internal stakeholders to optimize product offerings, improve customer experience, and enhance brand visibility in the region.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification or professional certification is an advantage.
Strong Business Development skills, including experience driving growth, identifying opportunities, and expanding market share.
Proficiency in Business Planning and Analytical Skills to develop strategic plans, interpret data, and make informed decisions.
Proven Sales capabilities, with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and acquisition targets.
Effective Account Management skills for nurturing client relationships, managing portfolios, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Relevant experience in financial services or pensions, with solid knowledge of the Nigerian pension industry and regulatory environment.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
Demonstrated leadership experience, including managing teams and coordinating regional initiatives.
Ability to work on-site in Abuja and travel within the Northern region as required.
