    Head Business Development

    Role Description 

    • The Head Business Development North is a full-time, on-site role based in Abuja, responsible for leading business development activities across the Northern region. 
    • This role oversees the identification and pursuit of new pension business opportunities, including corporate and individual accounts, while strengthening relationships with existing clients and partners. 
    • The position involves developing and executing regional sales and business plans, monitoring market trends, and coordinating strategic initiatives to grow Assets Under Management and customer base. 
    • The role includes managing account portfolios, guiding regional sales teams, preparing performance reports, and ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and corporate objectives. 
    • The Head Business Development North collaborates with internal stakeholders to optimize product offerings, improve customer experience, and enhance brand visibility in the region.

    Qualifications
     

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification or professional certification is an advantage.
    • Strong Business Development skills, including experience driving growth, identifying opportunities, and expanding market share.
    • Proficiency in Business Planning and Analytical Skills to develop strategic plans, interpret data, and make informed decisions.
    • Proven Sales capabilities, with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and acquisition targets.
    • Effective Account Management skills for nurturing client relationships, managing portfolios, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
    • Relevant experience in financial services or pensions, with solid knowledge of the Nigerian pension industry and regulatory environment.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
    • Demonstrated leadership experience, including managing teams and coordinating regional initiatives.
    • Ability to work on-site in Abuja and travel within the Northern region as required.
