Our client, a fast-growing Finance House is seeking to fill the role of Head, Audit & Control.

The role leads the overall direction of the internal audit function for the organisation and plans & conducts operational, financial and compliance audits to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and organisational risk.

Job Description:

• Responsible for the design, development and deployment of the organisation’s audit & internal control strategies for operational efficiencies and compliance with policies, procedures and regulations.
• Provide risk management support and internal control leadership regarding effective operation, risk mitigation strategies and overall regulatory compliance.
• Promote continuous enhancements and improvement of financial and operational controls, processes and system capabilities.
• Perform periodic audit and provide strategic recommendations
• Establish and maintain key relationships within and outside the organisation, provide business advisory service and strategic recommendations.
• Oversee the execution of other tasks or special projects when required by management such as review of system implementations, due diligence reviews, and internal investigations.

Person Specification:

• 8-10 years cognate experience in the financial services sector
• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized institution.
• Membership of a relevant professional body is required.
• An MBA will be an added advantage.
