Handyman at Precious Palm Royal Hotel

Job Description

• As an Handyman you will be responsible for minor repairs, carpentry, cemetery and other minor maintenance works in order to maintain and upkeep the general surrounding of the hotel.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare the necessary tools /equipment for the day's work, do any work order request.
• Carry out painting work in the hotel premises
• Carry out furniture and carpentry work
• Carry out cementing and minor sand filing and parching work
• Handle properly the work assigned by the supervisor
• Conduct regular inspections of all corridors and area equipment.
• Make inspection plan.
• Show interest in learning all available new technology and the latest products.
• Initiate orders for supplies for the trolley and maintain records of work completed.
• Ensure that all Work Order & General Maintenance works are executed, as directed by the immediate supervisor.
• Ensure that machines and equipment are clean and tidy at all times.
• Maintain and repair all furniture, carpet and wallpaper.
• Make a written report on defects noted.
• Conduct inventory of working tools and equipment every month.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess an FSLC / SSCE / GCE / NECO qualification with a minimum of 2 years work experience.
