Grinder at TRANOS

This role performs daily tool upkeep, enforcing 5S practices, and ensuring the quality of fabricated parts by removing burrs and weld spatter according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). 

Job Details

• Perform daily tool maintenance and uphold 5S practices, ensuring tools are clean, organized, and properly stored. 
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and SOPs, with a focus on precise finishing. 
• Conduct grinding tasks, removing burrs, weld spatters, and sharp edges from fabricated parts to achieve required finishing.  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. 
• Minimum of 1 year experience, preferably in manufacturing or engineering industry. 
• Skilled in operating a grinding machine and familiar with various abrasives and grinding techniques. 
• Reliable in recording job times using systems. 
• Strong awareness of safety risks, with a can-do attitude and a culture-oriented mindset. 
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
