Grill Chef - QSR at Kada Bistro

Role Overview

• We are looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Grill Chef to drive our grill house. This role requires technical skill, creativity, and strong sales/marketing ability to grow revenue and enhance guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Production: Expertly grill all varieties of Fish, Chicken, and Turkey to standard. Prepare Shawarma, Milkshakes, Fruit Pops, Boli, and signature sauces with consistent quality.
• Costing & Profitability: Perform daily recipe and plate costing. Monitor portion sizes and wastage to protect margins.
• Customer Experience & Sales: Engage customers professionally with excellent rapport. Upsell products and support marketing activations to drive sales.
• Operations: Ensure the grill station is organized, clean, and fully stocked. Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards.
• Menu Support: Collaborate with management on new grill items, combos, and promotions.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years hands-on experience as a Grill Chef in a QSR, Restaurant, Lounge, or Catering setting.
• Proven expertise in grilling Fish, Chicken, Turkey and making Shawarma, Milkshakes, Fruit Pops, Bole, and various sauces.
• Strong capability in food costing, pricing, and inventory control.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with a marketing mindset.
• Energetic, presentable, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards.
• Must be currently residing in Benin City or willing to relocate immediately.

Compensation

• Competitive Basic Salary + Commission [Negotiable based on experience and performance]
