Graphic Designer (Print Production) at Accessible Publishers Ltd

Job Summary

• We are looking for a Graphic Designer with strong print production experience to join our team. The ideal candidate must have at least 1 year of hands-on experience working in a print environment and must be highly proficient in CorelDRAW, which is the primary design software used for our production workflow.
• This role is best suited for a designer who understands practical print requirements, including preparing files for digital and large-format printing, handling layout adjustments, and ensuring designs are properly formatted for accurate print output.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and prepare print-ready artwork for materials such as flyers, brochures, banners, posters, books, and other marketing materials.
• Use CorelDRAW extensively for layout, editing, and preparing production files.
• Ensure all artwork meets print specifications, including correct dimensions, bleed, margins, resolution, and color settings.
• Work closely with the print production team to ensure designs translate accurately during printing.
• Adjust and correct artwork based on production requirements or machine specifications.
• Prepare files for digital printing, large-format printing, and finishing processes.
• Review proofs and make corrections before final production.
• Maintain organized project files for easy retrieval and future updates.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year experience in graphic design within a print or production environment.
• Strong working knowledge of CorelDRAW (this is a key requirement for the role).
• Practical understanding of print production processes and preparing print-ready files.
• Ability to manage multiple jobs while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
• Good understanding of layout, typography, and color management for print.

Added Advantage

• Knowledge of Adobe InDesign for multi-page document layout.
• Experience working with digital printing machines or print shops.
• Familiarity with large-format printing, imposition, or finishing processes.
