About the job

• The ideal candidate will have strong creative skills and a portfolio of work which demonstrates their passion for illustrative design and typography.
• This candidate will have experiences in working with numerous different design platforms such as digital and print forms. 

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the marketing team to create and maintain brand guideline and style
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create and design communication materials for print and digital
• Advise and implement best practices for design projects, including design software
• Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with marketing team on a wide range of materials that may include web pages, presentations, programming collateral, signage, internal communications, newsletters, short video clips and marketing materials
• Create design templates on a project-by-project basis
• Manage and prioritize design projects according to need
• Implement feedback and changes where needed
• Ensure projects are delivered timely

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in creative arts, industrial design, or related
• Exceptional creative imagination and execution ability
• Proficiency in programs such as Adobe Suite, Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Minimum of two years’ experience in graphic design and advertising
• Good attention to detail
• Portfolio of work with a wide range of creative projects
• Strong analytical skills
• Time management and organizational skills
• Knowledge of HTML and CSS (added advantage)
• Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and web
• Experience with both print and digital media
