Geography Teacher at Ascentech Services Limited

Job Summary

• We are seeking a qualified and experienced Geography Teacher to deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with both the Cambridge and Nigerian curricula.
• The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management skills, and a passion for student development.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver Geography lessons aligned with the Cambridge and Nigerian curricula
• Assess, record, and report students’ progress accurately
• Prepare students for internal and external examinations
• Develop and implement engaging teaching and learning strategies
• Maintain an orderly, safe, and supportive learning environment
• Participate in school meetings, trainings, and extracurricular activities
• Collaborate with other teachers and school management to enhance academic standards.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Minimum of a B.Ed Degree or B.Sc with a PGDE certificate (or in view)
• TRCN certification and/or M.Ed / M.Sc qualification will be an added advantage
• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in both Cambridge and Nigerian Curricula
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Ability to use modern teaching aids and instructional technologies.

Remuneration

• Salary is experience-based
• Minimum starting salary: N120,000 per month.
