This is a full-time on-site role for a Generator Operator based in Ogun State, Nigeria.
The Generator Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining generators to ensure continuous and efficient power supply.
Day-to-day tasks include regular inspection of equipment, troubleshooting, conducting routine maintenance checks, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Additional responsibilities include identifying and resolving any issues with the generator’s performance and keeping accurate maintenance records to ensure consistent operation.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of generator operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting
Experience with safety protocols and compliance standards for equipment maintenance
Technical skills related to mechanical and electrical systems
Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate operational updates clearly
Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Prior experience in the utilities, engineering, or energy industry is advantageous
Relevant certifications or technical training in generator operations and maintenance preferred
