Responsibilties

• Overseeing daily operations of the laboratory
• Managing laboratory staff and departmental managers
• Developing and implementing laboratory policies and procedures
• Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
• Monitoring laboratory budgets and financial performance
• Improving patient satisfaction and quality of care
• Implementing best practices in healthcare management
• Conducting regular staff meetings and training sessions
• Managing laboratory resources and inventory
• Preparing reports and presentations for the laboratory management and board
• Ensuring proper maintenance of laboratory facilities and equipment.

Qualifications & Skills

• Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field
• 8 - 12 years prior experience in a similar role
• Strong understanding of healthcare laws and regulations Nigeria
• Experience with healthcare information systems
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Proven leadership and management abilities
• Strong financial understanding for lab
• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in strategic planning and organizational development
