The Job

• The General Manager is the Chief Executive Officer responsible for the day-to-day running of the Company, and reports directly to the Board of Directors.

Requirements
Applicants are required to have:

• HND (Estate Management and Valuation) or a good Honors Degree in Estate Management, Valuation, Property, Taxation or other Finance & Land titling related disciplines.
• A relevant post-graduate degree/diploma would be an added advantage.
• Computer knowledge/application and membership of Nigerian Institute of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV) is mandatory.
• Minimum of Fifteen (15) years cognate working experience, of which five (5) years must be at Senior Management Position in a foremost contemporary Commercial Estate Management Company.

Qualities:
The ideal candidate must possess the qualities that include:

• Proven track record of success in facilitating progressive organizational change and development.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as a proven record of management capabilities, including experiences in financial, organisational development and team leadership.
• Demonstrate competence in developing and implementing strategic initiatives, policies and procedures.

Conditions of Service

• The position is for Five (5) years tenure in the first instance, and may be renewed for a second and final term on satisfactory performance.
• The remuneration and conditions of service are as applicable to the post of General Manager in ABU Estate Management Company Limited Staff Conditions of Service.
