Role Overview

• We’re looking for a hands-on Full Stack Team Lead with strong experience building banking or fintech platforms. The ideal candidate will have deep backend and frontend expertise, experience leading developers, and a solid understanding of financial systems and secure application architecture.
• You will play a key role in designing and scaling BellBank’s digital banking infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of full-stack engineers.
• Architect and build scalable banking and fintech applications.
• Develop backend services using Node.js, Java, or Kotlin.
• Build modern frontend interfaces using React / Next.js.
• Oversee system architecture, code quality, and engineering standards.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Work with AWS infrastructure to deploy and scale applications.
• Monitor system health using Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki.
• Collaborate with product, compliance, and operations teams.
• Ensure strong security practices and financial data protection.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working in banking, fintech, or financial systems.
• Proven experience leading or mentoring software developers.
• Strong full stack development experience with Node.js and Java/Kotlin.
• Experience building frontend applications using React or Next.js.
• Experience working with AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins).
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and scalable systems.
• Experience integrating payment systems or core banking platforms.
• Strong problem-solving and leadership skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with microfinance platforms or digital banking systems.
• Experience with containerization (Docker / Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of high-availability financial systems and distributed architectures.
• Experience managing remote engineering teams.
