At Ubulu Africa, you'll collaborate with UX/UI designers to create responsive, high-fidelity interfaces and develop efficient, modular code using frontend, backend and cloud computing technologies.
You'll design and develop secure server-side logic, database schemas, and APIs, working closely with product managers and stakeholders.
Your role includes optimizing applications for speed and scalability, thorough testing and debugging, and using Git for version control.
You'll work with Agile methodologies and document development processes while contributing to our coding standards
Skills & requirements you should have
We're looking for a software engineer with a strong track record of successful projects. You should have proficiency in frontend frameworks such as React and Next.js, as well as backend technologies like Node.js and Express.
Strong skills in HTML5, CSS with Tailwind, and JavaScript are essential.
Experience using Git for version control and Agile methodologies is required.
Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and cross-browser compatibility is beneficial.
Excellent problem-solving, debugging, communication, and teamwork abilities are a must, along with the ability to work both independently and in a hybrid environment.
Most importantly, a passion for digital innovation and making a positive impact in Africa is key.
