Full Stack Developer Intern at Talenture

An entry-level role for fresh graduates to build hands-on experience developing and maintaining company websites and web applications across front-end and back-end.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain features across front-end and back-end of web applications
• Write clean, well-documented and testable code
• Collaborate with designers to translate mockups into responsive, accessible UI
• Work with APIs, databases and server-side logic
• Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback from senior team members
• Debug, troubleshoot and fix issues across the stack
• Contribute to team discussions, sprint planning and stand-ups
• Learn and apply best practices in version control, testing and deployment

Requirements

• Recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field (current NYSC corp member or just concluded NYSC)
• Foundational knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Familiarity with at least one modern JS framework (e.g. React or Vue)
• Basic understanding of back-end concepts: server-side logic, APIs, databases
• Exposure to a back-end language or framework (Node.js, Python, Ruby on Rails, Java, etc.)
• Understanding of version control, particularly Git/GitHub
• Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn

Nice to have

• Personal projects or a GitHub portfolio demonstrating full stack work
• Familiarity with relational or NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• Basic understanding of RESTful API design
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure)
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, PyTest)
