Fuel Pump Engineer at COISCO

About Role

• We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pump Engineer/Technician to join our team and take responsibility for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of fuel dispensing pumps and related equipment at our filling stations.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and maintain petrol/diesel dispensing pumps and fuel dispensers.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and electronic faults affecting dispensing equipment.
• Carry out routine preventive maintenance on pumps and associated equipment.
• Install, calibrate, test and commission fuel dispensing pumps and related systems.
• Identify and resolve issues such as inaccurate dispensing, pump failure, leakage, display faults and flow-rate problems.
• Maintain and repair pump motors, valves, meters, nozzles, hoses and related components.
• Respond promptly to pump breakdowns across assigned stations.
• Maintain proper records of repairs, maintenance activities and replacement parts.
• Ensure all repairs comply with applicable safety standards and oil & gas operating procedures.
• Work closely with station and operations teams to minimise equipment downtime.

Requirements

• OND/HND/B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics or a related field is an added advantage- but not compulsory.
• Proven experience repairing and maintaining fuel dispensing pumps is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic pump systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot faults independently and work under pressure.
• Practical experience with filling-station equipment will be an added advantage.
• Good understanding of workplace and fuel-station safety practices.
• Willingness to travel between company stations when required.
