Frontend Engineer at Regolith Technologies

We’re seeking a skilled Frontend Engineer to join our team on a 9 to 12-month contract. In this fully remote role, you’ll work closely with our product, design, and backend teams to build and refine high-quality user interfaces that are fast, accessible, and responsive across devices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain responsive, accessible, and high-performance web applications
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to implement new features and improve user experience
• Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, or Angular)
• Optimize applications for performance, SEO, and usability
• Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility
• Integrate frontend components with RESTful APIs or GraphQL
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and agile development processes

Required Skills & Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in frontend development
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript
• Hands-on experience with at least one modern frontend framework (e.g., React, Vue, or Angular)
• Experience with state management tools (e.g., Redux, Zustand, Vuex)
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD workflows
• Solid understanding of web performance, responsive design, and accessibility standards (WCAG)
• Comfortable working in a remote and async-friendly team environment
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Next.js, Tailwind CSS, or Storybook
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress)
• Experience working with design systems or component libraries
• Exposure to frontend security best practices
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
