We are seeking a friendly, organized, and attentive Front Desk Officer to join our team in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a comfortable stay for our guests.
As a Front Desk Officer, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for managing check-in/check-out, room assignments, and communication with housekeeping and maintenance staff.
Responsibilities
Greet and welcome guests, manage check-in/check-out procedures
Assign rooms, handle room key distribution, and manage room changes
Answer phone calls, take messages, and respond to guest inquiries
Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure prompt service
Manage guest complaints and feedback with professionalism and courtesy
Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
Assist with guest requests, such as extra towels or luggage storage
Process payments, handle cash and credit transactions
Collaborate with the management team on special events and promotions
Requirements
0-1 year of experience in a hotel, guest house, or hospitality environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with hotel management software and POS systems
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with reservation systems and room assignment management
Knowledge of local area and attractions
Certification in hospitality or customer service is a plus
