French Tutor (TEF & TCF Preparation – Canada/Quebec Immigration) at Maplecrest Advisory

About the Role

Maplecrest Advisory seeks an experienced French Tutor to deliver high-quality TEF Canada and TCF Canada preparation for clients targeting immigration language benchmarks. The ideal candidate has proven success moving adult learners to B2/C1+ and can design measurable, results-driven lesson plans across listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach TEF/TCF exam strategies and skills (Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking)
• Create customized study plans and weekly progress trackers for each learner
• Run periodic mock tests; provide detailed feedback and score-improvement plans
• Curate practice materials aligned to TEF/TCF formats and scoring
• Maintain learner records and submit weekly progress reports
• Coordinate with Maplecrest Advisory programs team on schedules and outcomes

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years verifiable experience teaching French, with TEF/TCF focus
• Demonstrated learner outcomes at B2/C1 or higher (provide evidence)
• Excellent command of French and working proficiency in English
• Strong classroom management (online and onsite) and assessment skills
• Proficiency with Zoom/Google Meet, Google Docs/Sheets, and test-simulation tools

Preferred

• DELF/DALF or TEF/TCF instructor certification
• Prior work with adult learners preparing for Canadian/Quebec immigration
• Experience designing intensive bootcamps and fast-track curricula

Performance Indicators

• Documented learner score gains after 4–6 weeks
• ≥80% of learners achieving target band (B2/C1+)
• High completion and satisfaction rates

Salary

₦200,000 – ₦300,000 monthly (commensurate with experience and results)
