What You’ll Be Doing

• The Content Engine: Ideate, film, and edit original football content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, X (Twitter), and YouTube Shorts.
• On-Camera Presence: Be willing to get in front of the lens for explainers, matchday vlogs, and reactive storytelling.
• Social Programming: Assist in overseeing the daily publication across our platforms, guaranteeing our prompt response to any goal announcements or transfers.
• Community Vibe: Engage with the "Tribe" by managing comments, sparking debates, and keeping the banter flowing.
• A strong portfolio or a TikTok/IG page showing your ability to create sports content.
• Platform Management: Assist with daily publishing across X (Twitter), Instagram, and TikTok, ensuring all metadata, tags, and copy are on-brand.
• As a Social Content Creator at box18naija, you will be responsible for delivering full-service social content focused on football across the football-first social portfolio.

Requirements

• Football Obsessive: Deep knowledge of the the top European leagues (EPL, La Liga, etc.) and diasporan football talent
• Short-Form Specialist: Expert-level skills in mobile editing apps (CapCut, InShot, or Adobe Premiere Rush).
• Reactive Mindset: Ability to turn a trending football moment into a viral post within minutes.
• Confidence: Comfortable being both behind the lens and in front of it (on-camera presence is a huge plus!).
• Availability: Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends (because that’s when the football happens).
