Flight Dispatcher at Anap Jets

Job Description

• Assist the Pilot-in-Command with flight preparation and supply necessary information.
• Assist the Pilot-in-Command in the preparation of Operational and Air Traffic Service flight plans.
• Execute Operational Flight Plans.
• Submit the ATS flight plan to the relevant ATS unit.
• Provide the Pilot-in-Command with essential information required for the safe operation of the flight during its course.
• Meet and greet Anap Jets' clients.
• Weigh and tag clients' bags, transmit information to the Operations unit and PIC for correct mass and balance calculation.
• Eligible to conduct Mass and Balance computations.
• Execution of the Mass and Balance.
• Inform the relevant ATS unit when the aircraft position cannot be ascertained through tracking capabilities and communication efforts fail.
• In an emergency, implement the procedures outlined in the Emergency Response Plan and FDM.
• Radio communications related to flights during standard ground movement in the departure and arrival phase of operations.
• Telephone communications related to standard operations of either land or aerial flights.
• Serve as a responder for the Anap Jets Emergency Response Plan objectives as outlined in an emergency that jeopardizes the safety of the aircraft or individuals, and is first reported to Anap Jets, the Flight Dispatcher is to execute actions in line with the Emergency Response Plan, including, as necessary.
• In an emergency that jeopardizes the safety of the aircraft or individuals, including situations initially identified by Anap Jets, Flight Dispatchers are tasked to:
• Implement emergency protocols as specified in the Emergency Response Plan, ensuring that no actions contradict ATC procedures. Promptly inform the relevant authorities of the situation's nature.
• Seek help, if needed, and communicate through any available channels, safety-related information to the Pilot-in-Command that may be essential for the safe execution of the flight, including details regarding any required modifications to the flight plan.
• Coordinate crew transportation by directing the drivers at designated intervals.
• Coordinate with the Supervisors regarding the daily dispatch operations.
• Collaborate with external agencies that may influence flight operations coordination, planning, preparation, and oversight.

Requirements and skills

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in airline operations, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role within operational control or a comparable position.
• Proficient in operations control, with a solid understanding of aviation weather documents, computer flight planning, and aircraft performance data.
• NCAA Aircraft Dispatcher License or its equivalent.
• Possess extensive knowledge of regulatory requirements and is well-versed in aviation safety.
