Fleet and Logistics Manager at Wemy Industries Limited

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily fleet operations and ensure vehicles are available when needed.
• Monitor vehicle usage, fuel consumption, and maintenance costs.
• Schedule routine servicing, repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure vehicles are roadworthy and comply with regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate fleet records including licenses, insurance, roadworthiness, and service history.
• Track and monitor drivers’ performance, conduct, and compliance with company policies.
• Ensure timely renewal of vehicle documents (insurance, vehicle license, permits, etc.).
• Investigate and report accidents, damages, and breakdowns; recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with vendors, mechanics, and service providers for repairs and spare parts.
• Implement fleet safety policies and ensure compliance with HSE standards.
• Monitor GPS tracking systems where applicable and report irregularities.
• Prepare weekly/monthly fleet performance and cost reports.
• Ensure proper allocation and scheduling of vehicles for assignments.

Requirements / Qualifications

• HND/BSc in Transport Management, Logistics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 2–4 years experience in fleet management or logistics operations.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and basic mechanical troubleshooting.
• Good understanding of road safety regulations and transport documentation.
• Ability to work under pressure and respond to emergencies.
