Fitness Coach at Nicole Sinclair Consulting

We are seeking driven and passionate Physical Health Education (PE) or Health Education graduates or Athletes who are eager to grow in the fitness and wellness industry to join our team. As a Fitness Coach, you will receive hands-on training and mentorship to become a skilled fitness professional while working closely with experienced mentors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist senior coaches/instructors in delivering group fitness classes and individual training sessions.
• Observe and support the design and execution of fitness programs for diverse clients and populations.
• Gain hands-on experience in conducting fitness assessments and developing personalized fitness plans.
• Contribute to the preparation of health education workshops, seminars, and community outreach programs.
• Maintain a clean and safe workout environment by learning proper equipment usage and safety protocols.
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities and certifications in fitness and health education.
• Help set up and prepare equipment for training sessions.
• Share class information with the preparation group and trainers ahead of time.
• Stay current with the latest trends in fitness, health education, and wellness to provide relevant and accurate information.
• Educate clients on wellness habits, proper nutrition, and lifestyle balance.
• Track client progress and provide motivational support.
• Attend staff meetings, workshops, and continuous development sessions.
• Work closely with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth client check-in and scheduling for training sessions.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Health Education, Health Education, Kinesiology, or a related field.
• Strong interest in fitness, wellness, and health education.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive, energetic, and teachable attitude.
• Basic understanding of fitness principles (training provided).
• Willingness to learn and develop coaching and instructional skills in a dynamic environment.
• Enthusiasm for helping others achieve their health and fitness goals.
• Ability to work well in both team settings and independently.
• Ability to work closely with trainers, other fitness professionals, and staff to ensure smooth operations and member satisfaction.
