Finishes Builder at Trucrete Solutions Limited

• This role will be responsible for executing high-quality finishing works on construction projects, ensuring that all finishes meet the company’s standards, specifications, and client expectations. The role requires strong technical skills in plastering, tiling, painting, flooring, carpentry, and other finishing works, while adhering to project schedules, safety protocols, and quality assurance standards.

Responsibilities

• Execute finishing works such as plastering, screeding, tiling, painting, flooring, cladding, partitioning, ceiling installation, and other related works.
• Interpret drawings, specifications, and work instructions to deliver precise finishes.
• Ensure finishing works are carried out to the highest quality, free from defects, and within specified tolerances.
• Supervise and guide helpers, artisans, and subcontractors on finishing tasks as required.
• Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with project specifications, company standards, and client expectations.
• Maintain proper use and care of finishing tools, equipment, and materials.
• Adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental regulations on site.
• Report progress, challenges, and material requirements to the Project Manager in a timely manner.
• Assist in rectifying snag lists, touch-ups, and final detailing before project handover.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years relevant work experience in building construction with a strong focus on finishing works.
• Demonstrated experience in high-standard residential, commercial, or civil projects.
• Knowledge of construction safety standards and best practices.
• Strong practical skills in all types of finishing works (plaster, paint, tile, carpentry, screed, ceilings, etc.).
• Ability to interpret drawings and apply specifications accurately.
• High attention to detail and commitment to delivering superior quality finishes.
• Problem-solving ability and a proactive work approach.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
