Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Reporting Analyst to join our Finance team. This role is responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and insightful financial reports in line with regulatory requirements and internal standards. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting financial decision-making processes through data analysis, performance tracking, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory and accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS).
• Analyze large datasets from multiple sources to identify financial trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization.
• Track and assess financial performance by comparing actual results against forecasts and budgets.
• Collaborate with various departments (Accounting, Sales, Operations) to collect financial data and deliver actionable business insights.
• Support the annual budgeting process and long-term financial planning to align with the organization’s goals.
• Assist in financial due diligence and valuation analysis related to mergers, acquisitions, or other corporate activities.
• Provide recommendations to improve overall financial health and business performance.
• Stay current with financial, regulatory, and technological developments to ensure the company remains compliant and competitive.
• Present complex data and reports to non-financial stakeholders in a simplified and strategic manner.
• Ensure all reports are accurate, secure, and align with data governance and privacy standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Accounting, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CFA) is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a financial reporting, financial analyst, or data analytics role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, MS Office, spreadsheets, and financial software applications.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.
• Skilled in data analysis, statistical modeling, and the use of data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Hands-on experience with data cleaning, validation, and management.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate findings clearly to senior management.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of numerical accuracy and data integrity.
