Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Associate at Vendease

About the role 

As a Financial Planning & Analysis Associate, you will support our fundraising efforts through the development of robust financial models, pitch decks, reports and management of existing models. You will leverage your exceptional technical and communication skills to engage stakeholders, conduct analysis and provide management with actionable insights. 

Responsibilities 

• Develop and maintain complex financial models to support the company’s forecasting, budgeting, and decision-making processes. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze financial & non-financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights for strategic initiatives. 
• Support fundraising efforts, including preparing materials for pitches, presentations and due diligence. 
• Track departmental and location budget performance by analysing actual results and conducting variance analysis.
• Periodic preparation of Covenant reports and other Investor reports.

Requirements

• 3-5 years experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Investment Banking or similar.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Experience in developing and executing fundraising strategies for Startups and other Businesses
• A self-motivated and adaptable person with a strong service orientation and “do what it takes” attitude.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and business valuation.
• Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary; manager/owner mentality and an entrepreneurial drive.
• Great team player with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to prioritize workload with the leadership team and communicate status and risks to delivery effectively, without fail
