Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced and skilled “Financial Officer” with solid accounting skills and tax filing proficiency to join their team. 
• As a Financial Officer, you will be responsible for managing financial operations, including bookkeeping, tax filing and payment, and audit match work.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform bookkeeping and accounting duties including general ledger, bank flow journals, financial statements
• File monthly and annual tax returns, personal income tax, withholding tax, VAT, CIT and other statutory taxes on time
• Organize and file monthly bills for various expenses, tax returns, and payment receipts
• Assist the Finance Manager in the implementation and dissemination of the financial management system according to the company's financial management system Approve external payments, employee reimbursement process, etc.
• Interface with auditors for annual audit report and ensure smooth completion of annual corporate income tax filing - Monitor industry tax policies and provide insights to the Finance Manager
• Ensure compliance with Nigerian tax regulations and laws.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Professional certification (ACA, ACCA, ICAN) is a plus
• Minimum 3 years of similar experience
• Proficient in accounting principles, tax laws and financial regulations
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g. .ACCA, .ACCA . g., Proficient in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, SAP).
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

Benefits

• Salary Budget:N300,000 - 400,000 Gross salary Basic pay, Performance pay, Saturday pay is double the pay, seniority allowance and Transport subsidy inclusive.
