Financial Controller (Restaurant) at Rubels & Angels

Job Description

• Responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the restaurant business, including budgeting, reporting, cost control, and ensuring financial accuracy and compliance across branches.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day financial operations and accounting functions
• Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports
• Monitor cost of sales, inventory valuation, and expense control
• Ensure accurate bookkeeping, reconciliations, and record-keeping
• Manage payroll processing and statutory remittances (tax, pension, etc.)
• Conduct financial analysis to support management decision-making
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls
• Oversee cash flow management across branches
• Liaise with auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies
• Supervise accounting/finance staff

Requirements
Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, CPA) preferred

Experience:

• 4–6 years' experience in financial management/accounting, preferably within hospitality or multi-branch retail operations

Skills:

• Strong financial and analytical skills
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Excel)
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Leadership and team management
• Strong communication and reporting skills
