Financial Analyst at GVA Partners

Job Description

• Support financial planning and forecasting activities
• Collaborate with business units to track spending against budgets
• Conduct variance analysis (actual vs. budget/forecast) and provide insights
• Develop and maintain management dashboards and performance reports
• Monitor and track departmental spending against approved budgets
• Partner with business units to analyze financial performance and cost drivers
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve financial outcomes
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and reports
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities
• Build and maintain financial models to support business decisions
• Improve reporting processes and enhance automation where possible
• Support audit processes and ensure compliance with financial policies
• Present financial insights and recommendations to management

Requirements

• 3 – 5 years of FA experience
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• Proficiency in Excel/BI tools required.
• Solid understanding of financial statements and reporting principles
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High level of Accuracy and attention to detail.
