Role Description

• The Financial Advisory Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Lagos. This position is responsible for providing investment and financial advisory support to clients, including analyzing portfolios, preparing proposals, and recommending Shariah-compliant financial products and strategies. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing financial statements and market data, preparing reports and presentations, and supporting the development of tailored investment solutions aligned with clients’ risk profiles and objectives. The role involves regular communication with clients and internal teams, contributing to product development initiatives, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal guidelines. The Financial Advisory Officer also assists in market research, monitoring industry trends, and supporting investor education and outreach activities.

Qualifications

• Strong finance and investment knowledge, including an understanding of Islamic finance and non-interest financial products.
• Ability to interpret and work with financial statements, and familiarity with financial reporting practices.
• Demonstrated analytical skills for evaluating market trends, investment opportunities, and portfolio performance.
• Effective communication skills for engaging clients, preparing clear reports, and collaborating with internal stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related field; relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFA, ACCA, CIS) are an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, integrity, and commitment to ethical investing and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and comfort with financial analysis tools.
• Experience in asset management, investment banking, or financial advisory roles is beneficial.
