JOB SUMMARY 

• Ensuring the bookkeeping shows a true and fair value of the business promptly.
• Presenting both qualitative and quantitative techniques of the financial statement and comparative analysis against precedent and future periods.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Full review of the Income Statement & Statement of Financial Position
• Follow up with Account Receivables & Account Payables Team to ensure posting is coordinated promptly. 
• Understand underlying financial results and processes and suggest improvements for the business. 
• Assist with ensuring compliance with industry-specific accounting standards, regulations, and internal controls. 
• Preparation of Quarterly Closing Financial Report (TB/GL/IS and SCF) 
• Preparation of all audit files and supporting documents for the above.
• Presentation and explanation of any variances as per above. 
• Posting on Quick book accounting system,
• Assistance to Account Receivables & Account Payables department for Monthly Report 
• Reconciliation of cash requests to payment (Error 14 & 45).
• Payment of retail weekly and monthly commissions.
• Documentation and update of standard operating procedures 
• Review inventory schedule.
• Full Assistance to external Auditors for Corporate Book Filling. 
• Other duties assigned by Line Manager
• Preparation of Budget Forecast in collaboration with the Account Receivables & Account Payables Team.
• Other duties assigned by Line Manager

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
• Student Membership, ICAN
• Minimum of Three (3) years of working experience
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
