Financial Accountant at Meyer Plc

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably at officer level within the manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Proficiency in spreadsheets and accounting-related data analysis.
• Excellent analytical, communication, teamwork, and financial decision-making skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish product costs, update standard costs, analyze cost variances, and prepare cost reports.
• Manage inventory accounting, reporting, and reconciliations.
• Prepare accurate financial reports and ensure timely month-end accounting activities.
• Support budget preparation, financial forecasting, and cost-volume-profit analysis.
• Manage account reconciliations, general ledger activities, invoicing, bank transactions, and treasury-related functions
