    Finance Officer

    JOB SUMMARY

    • Mainly responsible for our Finance Operation, who should be a member of an accounting professional body.
    • The Finance Officer would run the day-to-day Finance Operations, Expense reimbursements, Accounting and building Finance reports, etc.
    • Esure efficient financial governance practices and processes

    Duties & Responsibilities :

    Financial Governance

    • Coordinate annual budget planning and semi-annual budget reviews
    • Maintain a budget tracking system to help functional heads to make financial decisions
    • Assist in the development and maintenance of Company’s finance policies and procedures
    • Maintain payment systems and processes that comply with Company's finance policies and procedures
    • Maintain a cash flow management system that projects cash requirements and coordinates with Fund Raising units to ensure a healthy cash balance

    Financial Reporting

    • Produce annual reports which include both financial (audited account) and non-financial information that are relevant to public stakeholders
    • Produce semi-annual donor reports which include both financial (audited account) and non-financial information that are relevant to donors
    • Produce quarterly financial reports for Company’s Board Members
    • Produce monthly management reports for internal use
    • Manage and coordinate the audit process
    • Manage and coordinate remittance of statutory deductions etc
    • Produce any other reports which may be required from time to time
    • Assest & Equipment Management
    • Capex/Opex administration

    Education, Skills and Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related courses from any reputable university (ACA) added advantage
    • Minimum of 4 years experience in accounting/Finance
    • Ability to construct and dissect simple financial statements with very minimal guidance.
    • High level of attention to detail required to ensure report accuracy.
    • Logical and methodical thinking required to design and improve financial processes.
    • Strong numerical and analytical skills required for simple financial analysis.
    • Competency with Microsoft Office productivity tool (e.g. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
    • Share the same sense of mission and core values as the organization.
    • Strong team player.
    • Demonstrated success in a fast-paced environment.
    • Full range of strategic management and leadership skills.
    • Demonstrates the ability to make and take responsibility for sound and far-reaching decisions.
    • Experience of managing multiple projects.
    • Financial and budget management skills.
    • Ability to assess and plan for future needs.
    • Ability to plan and prioritize own workload and that of others.
    • Integrity, compassion, mission-oriented, and commitment to excellence.
