    Finance Officer

    Position Overview

    • We seeks a motivated and experienced Finance Officer to join our dynamic team.
    • The Finance Officer will be key in ensuring the organization's financial health by managing financial transactions, budgeting, reporting, and compliance with financial regulations.
    • This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those we serve and contribute to the success of our projects.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage CLAP's day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
    • Prepare and monitor CLAP Project budgets, financial forecasts, and cash flow projections.
    • Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and CLAP's financial policies.
    • Process and reconcile financial transactions, including expenses and revenues.
    • Prepare financial statements and reports for management and external stakeholders.
    • Monitor and manage financial risk by identifying and addressing any irregularities.
    • Support program managers in budget planning and financial management.
    • Continuously improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
    • 0 - 3 years work experience.
    • Proven experience as a Finance Officer or in a similar financial role.
    • Strong understanding of financial regulations and reporting standards.
    • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
    • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Good communication and teamwork skills.
    • Ability to work in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.
