Finance Manager- Reporting and Revenue Control at Ntel Nigeria

Job Summary

• Overseeing financial reporting, revenue recognition, and internal controls. The role ensures compliance with accounting standards, drive revenue accuracy and financial performance, supports audit and ERP migration processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the external reporting process with NATCOM. in the immediate, work with Team to close the outstanding years with the external auditors
• Prepare management accounts and establish all processes towards migration to a new ERP
• Ensure all control accounts are reconciled and are in check. During the current review, document and recommend all significant journals to establish control
• Have oversight over revenue recognition in accordance with revenue standard, IFRS 15, and related accounting standards
• Margin and Contribution Analysis
• Act as business partner to the Sales Team and efforts affecting revenue initiative, development and control implementation
• Establish the framework to enable NATCOM comply with FRC’s guidance on Internal Control Over Financial Reporting
• Other functions assigned by the Financial Controller

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Professional Certification in Accounting (e.g., ICAN, ACCA, CPA, CFA or similar) is required
• Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive finance or accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role
• Experience with financial operations, treasury operations, cash management, or accounts payable/receivable functions.
• Knowledge of financial markets and investment strategies
• Demonstrable experience in performing bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
