Job Description

• We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our client’s team in Ajaokuta.
• The ideal candidate will oversee financial operations, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, support decision-making with accurate reporting, and drive efficiency through digitization and streamlined processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage financial accounting, reporting, and analysis functions.
• Oversee collection and payment processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct financial analysis to support budgeting and expense management.
• Engage with auditors to resolve audit queries across all functions.
• Ensure compliance with local finance laws, tax regulations, and company policies.
• Drive productivity through process automation and digitization.
• Implement and monitor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Prepare schedules and generate timely weekly/monthly reports for management.
• Collaborate with group offices or other functions as required.

Requirements

• Professional qualification: ICAN (mandatory).
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of ERP accounting systems (Orion is an advantage).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in the building materials, cement, ceramics, or glass manufacturing sector preferred.
• Strong team management and leadership skills.
