Job Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Finance Manager to manage our financial processes and ensure the organization’s financial health.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting:
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Budgeting and Forecasting:
  • Assist in the development and management of the annual budget.
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance.
• Tax Compliance:
  • Prepare and file tax returns in accordance with local laws.
  • Stay updated on tax regulations and ensure compliance.
• Accounts Payable and Receivable:
  • Manage and process invoices and payments to suppliers.
  • Track and collect payments from customers.
• Internal Controls and Audits:
  • Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Assist with internal and external audits.
• Financial Analysis:
  • Conduct financial analyses to support strategic decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiency.
• Regulatory Compliance:
  • Keep abreast of changes in financial regulations.
  • Ensure the organization adheres to all financial compliance requirements.
• Data Management:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Utilize accounting software for data entry and reporting.
• Advisory Role:
  • Provide financial guidance and support to management on financial planning and business strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Proven five (5) years experience as a finance manager
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAGE) is important
• Professional certification (e.g., ICAN, ACCA)
