Finance Manager at First Excelsia

Our client, an HR Technology company is seeking to fill the role of a Finance Manager. The ideal role holder will be responsible for creating, analysing, and interpreting our data to make informed decisions. You will also be expected to create new financial models and charts to assist with our business planning and forecasting.

The ideal role holder will be responsible for reconciliation of accounts, financial information analysis, financial reporting and budget preparation and execution. You will also be responsible for maintaining the financial integrity of our accounting systems and procedures.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and statements.
• Assess financing alternatives by considering risk, return, and market conditions.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and budgets.
• Monitor the cash flow of the company to ensure sufficient funds are available to meet cash flow needs.
• Prepare an analysis of financing needs for major capital equipment purchases, working capital, and other financing needs.
• Prepare and monitor the company's credit facility.
• Prepare periodic financial reports for the company.

Person Specification

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance discipline.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Financial Accountant, 3 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Related experience in the Information and Communications Technology sector will be an added advantage.
• Professional certificates from highly regarded institutes will be an added advantage.
• Strong analytical and logical skills
• Proven experience in financial analysis, forecasting and budgeting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes
• Demonstrated proficiency in relevant accounting software.
